Emotional Freedom Therapy

Many of us experience moments of feeling overwhelmed, afraid, insecure, and nervous, that's normal. What happens when those feeling begin to be our new normal? You don't have to settle for feeling exhausted, anxious, or defeated.  You were created to thrive, but sometimes things can become unbalanced. How would life be different if you could face challenges with confidence? What dreams would you pursue if you weren't afraid? How would your life be different if the negativity of others didn't bother you?  The body is home to so much energy.  We have the ability to literally tap into that energy.  By using the fingers to tap specific meridians in the body with intentional words being spoken, we can train the brain to teach our body what to do. It is more than a quick solution for feeling nervous or afraid, some use tapping for almost every area of life, including weight loss, control cravings, dealing with other people's emotions, and self-destructive behaviors.  I will never talk about something I haven't tried personally.  I happily use EFT, and I am astounded by my experience.  Before starting a tapping session it is helpful to rate the particular negative emotion you're feeling from 1-10. After rating, complete the sequence, and rate again.  Repeat if necessary.  Your ending number should be no higher than a 2.  Imagine taking moments of panic, where you're experiencing terror at a 9, and having the ability to bring yourself to a calm and balanced 2 within minutes.  Sounds too good to be true, right?  You can try it for yourself.  Feel free to book an appointment and we can discuss what incorporating EFT into your self-care routine could look like!  This is one of my favorite videos to tap along with!
